Emerging economic opportunities in Southwest Florida's rural inland areas will be explained by Charles Chapman, Hendry County Administrator. Sponsored by Sallee Promotions. REGISTRATION IS CLOSED.
Changing land use patterns and commercial development in Hendry County will be presented by Hendry County Manager Charles Chapman at the Real Estate Investment Society’s (REIS) August 8th luncheon meeting.
Hendry County is on a path to diversify its agricultural economy by developing the infrastructure and workforce to support private commercial and industrial development. Large tracts of land, potential airport expansion, and strategic highway connections have fueled interest in distribution and logistics centers in the region. Manufacturing and military training facilities have also been attracted to Hendry County. Following his presentation, Mr. Chapman will respond to questions of specific interest to the real estate investment and development industry.
Charles Chapman has been Hendry County Manager since 2013. Previously, he served as Parks Director, Public Works Director, and Administrative Coordinator in Gadsden County. He has also been involved in initiatives to develop broadband capability and infrastructure improvements in south Florida’s rural interior.
The meeting is sponsored by Sallee Promotions and will begin promptly at 11:45 a.m. on Tuesday, August 11th in the Osprey Room at Pelican Preserve’s Clubhouse, on Treeline Avenue at Colonial Boulevard, one mile east of I-75 exit 136 in Fort Myers.
