What is the outlook for commercial real estate? Where can you find financing and business capital? Are your appraisals and assessments still accurate – and what can you do about it? What’s the outlook for available commercial financing and the capital markets? How can you work with tenants in default? What are the tenant’s and landlord’s legal rights? How can you get the best deals on distressed or foreclosed properties? These and other timely questions will be addressed by some of Southwest Florida’s leading professionals in the commercial real estate field:
Lori Moore, Esq
. of Roetzel & Andress will discuss a wide range of legal issues affecting all participants in commercial real estate. Key topics include current legal issues relating to commercial real estate leases and sales contracts and will provide insights on the "do's and don'ts” of contract disputes and defaults.
Suzanne Specht
of the FGCU Small Business Development Center and
Tom Wallace
, President of IDS Corp., 504 SBA Lender, will detail loan programs available to small business owners and investors in Southwest Florida.
Ed Tamer
, Vice President of Grandbridge Real Estate Capital will provide a capital markets overview of the current commercial lending environment and available loan programs and underwriting terms for commercial real estate assets.
Trey Starling
, Vice President of CB Richard Ellis Valuation will provide a macro-economic overview of the commercial real estate markets in Lee, Charlotte, and Collier Counties including current asset value assessments and market trends.
The presenters will conduct a question and answer session at the end of each segment, to address specific issues confronted by the attendees.

They’ll also learn to evaluate opportunities in the current marketplace and best methods to capitalize on them. The presenters are all leading experts in their respective fields, who are willing to share their expertise with property owners and professionals in the commercial real estate industry.

Admission is $50 for REIS members, $25 for active college students, and $70 for all other interested persons. Admission includes continental breakfast and a mid-morning break with refreshments.
