Real Estate Investment Society Announces New Officers and Board Members
The Real Estate Investment Society (REIS) announces the election of officers and the Board of Governors to lead the organization during 2019: President Alexis Crespo, AICP, of Waldrop Engineering; Vice President Mary Gentile, CSM, CRX, of LandQwest Property Management; Treasurer Bill Morris, P.E., of Morris-Depew Associates; and Secretary Kent Poli, of Busey Bank. The Board of Governors includes: Jason Brewer, of BB&T Bank; Gordon Glover, of Suffolk; Tim Hancock, AICP, of Stantec; Travis Merrick, of GFA International; Lori Moore, of Roetzel & Andress; Justin Thibaut, of Land Solutions; and Austin Turner, of Henderson Franklin Starnes & Holt. The immediate past president, Bev Larson, CCIM, of Lahaina Realty, also joins the Board. The Real Estate Investment Society is an independent organization, dedicated to assisting members in the effective utilization of real estate through networking, education, public service, and a common voice on pertinent issues. The membership represents a broad spectrum of real estate, environmental, financial, legal, design, construction, marketing and management companies. REIS luncheon meetings convene at 11:30 on the second Tuesday of each month, at Pelican Preserve in Fort Myers, to network and discuss current civic and business issues affecting the commercial real estate and development industry.
