Real Estate Investment Society Appoints
Bill Morris to Board of Governors

The Real Estate Investment Society (REIS) announces the appointment of Bill Morris, to the Board of Governors. Bill Morris, PE, LEED AP, is a principal in Morris-Depew Associates.

Morris joins the 2015 REIS leadership team, which includes President Matt Simmons, of Maxwell, Hendry & Simmons, LLC; Vice President Amanda L. Brock, Esq., of Henderson Franklin Starnes & Holt, PA; Treasurer Karen Miller, of Conestoga-Rovers & Associates, Inc.; and Secretary Bev Larson, CCIM, of Lahaina Realty. The Board of Governors includes: Bob Bassett, of Branch Banking & Trust Co.; Alexis Crespo, of Waldrop Engineering; Mary Gentile, of LandQwest Property Management, LLC; Mark Morris, of VIP Realty - Commercial; John Nicola, of Grandbridge Real Estate Capital; and Peter Rossi, of Forge Engineering. The immediate past president, Sean M. Ellis, Esq., of Roetzel & Andress, remains on the Board.

The Real Estate Investment Society is an independent organization, dedicated to assisting members in the effective utilization of real estate through networking, education, public service, and a common voice on pertinent issues. The membership represents a broad spectrum of real estate, environmental, financial, legal, design, construction, marketing and management companies.

REIS luncheon meetings convene at 11:30 on the second Tuesday of each month, at Pelican Preserve in Fort Myers, to network and discuss current civic and business issues affecting the commercial real estate and development industry.
