Lee County Sheriff Carmine Marceno will discuss strategies for public safety issues and law enforcement priorities at the Real Estate Investment Society’s (REIS) July 9th luncheon meeting. The program will include crime trends and prevention programs, community relations, and implementation of new technology. He is also expected to address joint initiatives and coordination between area law enforcement agencies. Following his presentation, Sheriff Marceno will respond to questions of specific interest to the real estate investment and development industry. Carmine Marceno was appointed in 2018 to replace Sheriff Mike Scott. Marceno previously served as Undersheriff in Lee County and as a deputy with the Collier County Sheriff’s Department. The meeting is sponsored by Alico ITEC Park, and will begin promptly at 11:45 a.m. on Tuesday, July 9th in the Osprey Room at Pelican Preserve’s Clubhouse, on Treeline Avenue at Colonial Boulevard, one mile east of I-75 exit 136 in Fort Myers.
