The start of the Slaw Dog this year with be with a crossover. Everyone will start on the first or tenth tee with tee times between 11:30 am and 1:30 pm. Details and instructions will be provided in the near future including setting your team’s tee time. By moving to earlier tee times, our players will be able to complete their round by 5:30 pm and the Slaw Dogs and Putting Contest will follow.

From a health and safety perspective, Cypress Lake Country Club is following rigorous cleaning protocols and are installing plexiglass in carts to separate players. We will provide more details as the event nears. If you have any specific questions, please let us know.

Thanks to your big hearts and generous donations during last year’s Slaw Dog Tournament, we not only reached our goal of $20,000, but we surpassed it! Thanks to each and every one of you; we raised $21,060! Due to your generosity, we were able to donate $9,780.40 to the Paul Sands REIS Scholarship Fund, which provides scholarships to students from FGCU. $9,780.40 was given to Blessings in a Backpack making it possible to feed 97 kids every weekend for an entire school year! Lastly, $1,500 was given to Stockings 4 Kids to provide 100 stuffed stockings for children in need at Christmas. These kids and their families thank you for your continued support!
