The latest trends in property values will be explained by Lee County Property Appraiser Ken Wilkinson. REGISTRATION IS CLOSED.
Wilkinson will also address recent legislation extending the limit on annual tax increases for commercial properties and the proposed amendment to increase homestead exemption. He is also expected to report on advances in information technology for online mapping and property reports – and making information available to real estate professionals. Following the presentation, Ken Wilkinson will respond to specific questions from the attending real estate development and investment professionals.
Kenneth M. Wilkinson, C.F.A., has served as Lee County Property Appraiser since 1980. Under his leadership, the office has achieved national prominence in advancing the use of technology and making property information available to the public. Wilkinson has also initiated state legislation to allow access to public records and to limit increases in property taxes.
The meeting is sponsored by GFA International and will begin promptly at 11:45 a.m. on Tuesday, October 10th in the Osprey Room at Pelican Preserve’s Clubhouse, on Treeline Avenue at Colonial Boulevard, one mile east of I-75 exit 136 in Fort Myers. Admission is $30.00 for members and $40.00 for guests, which includes lunch. Reservations are required by October 5th. REGISTRATION IS CLOSED.
