School system growth and taxes will be discussed by Dr. Ami Desamours, Finance Director of Lee County School District, at the October 12th luncheon, sponsored by First Citizens Bank. REGISTRATION IS CLOSED.
How and where will Lee County Schools expand to keep pace with growth? How will we pay for it? Dr. Ami Desamours, Chief Financial Officer for the School District of Lee County, will answer these and other critical questions at the Real Estate Investment Society’s (REIS) October 12th luncheon meeting. Dr. Desamours will report on sales tax revenue fluctuations and their use and also explain school design modifications for public health and safety. Dr. Desamours is responsible for budget management and financial operations for Lee County Schools, including financial planning for land acquisitions and development. She has provided financial leadership for the District, Florida Southwestern College, and non-profit organizations in Southwest Florida for nearly twenty years. Following the presentation, she will respond to questions of specific interest to the real estate investment and development industry. The meeting is sponsored by First Citizen's Bank and will begin at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, October 12th in the Osprey Room at Pelican Preserve’s Clubhouse, on Treeline Avenue at Colonial Boulevard, one mile east of I-75 exit 136 in Fort Myers.
