Real Estate Investment Society Announces
New Officers and Board Members
The Real Estate Investment Society (REIS) announces the election of officers and the Board of Governors to lead the organization during 2009. Sharon Jenkins-Owen, AICP, of WilsonMiller, Inc.; Vice President Hal Tate, of Reliance Bank; Treasurer Kevin M. Fitzgerald, of NAI Southwest Florida, Inc.; and Secretary Kim Donnelly, of Reliance Bank.
The Board of Governors includes Sean Ellis, Esquire, of Roetzel & Andress, LPA; Mary Gibbs, AICP, of Lee County Department of Community Development; Janie Hooker, of Land Solutions, Inc.; Steve Hurley, of David Douglas Associates, Inc.; Vikki Luft, of Compass Construction, Inc.; Matt Rocco, of Grandbridge Real Estate Capital, LLC; and Shelton Weeks, PhD, of Florida Gulf Coast University. The immediate past President, Steven C. Hartsell, Esquire, of Pavese Law Firm, also joins the Board.
The Real Estate Investment Society is an independent organization, dedicated to assisting members in the effective utilization of real estate through networking, education, public service, and a common voice on pertinent issues. The membership represents a broad spectrum of real estate, environmental, financial, legal, design, construction, marketing and management companies.
REIS luncheon meetings convene at 11:30 on the second Tuesday of each month, at Pelican Preserve in Fort Myers, to network and discuss current civic and business issues affecting the commercial real estate industry.
