The Real Estate Investment Society (REIS) announces the election of officers and the Board of Governors to lead the organization during 2018: President Bev Larson, CCIM, of Lahaina Realty; Vice President Alexis Crespo, AICP, of Waldrop Engineering; Treasurer Mary Gentile, CSM, CRX, of LandQwest Property Management, LLC; and Secretary Bill Morris, P.E., of Morris-Depew Associates. The Board of Governors includes: Jason Brewer, of BB&T; David Fry, of The Place On First; Tim Hancock, AICP, of Stantec; Travis Merrick, of GFA International; Mark Morris, of VIP – Commercial; Lori Moore, of Roetzel & Andress; and Kent Poli, of Busey Bank. The immediate past president, Karen Miller, of GHD Services, remains on the Board. The Real Estate Investment Society is an independent organization, dedicated to assisting members in the effective utilization of real estate through networking, education, public service, and a common voice on pertinent issues. The membership represents a broad spectrum of real estate, environmental, financial, legal, design, construction, marketing and management companies. REIS luncheon meetings convene at 11:30 on the second Tuesday of each month, at Pelican Preserve in Fort Myers, to network and discuss current civic and business issues affecting the commercial real estate and development industry.
