“If you build it they will come: New Construction Management program at FGCU” will be presented by Craig Capano, Ph.D., CPC, founding chair/professor with Florida Gulf Coast University’s (FGCU) Construction Management Department. Dr. Capano will explain the program and its relationship with Southwest Florida’s real estate development industry.The presentation is also expected to reveal opportunities for the business community to partner with FGCU in course seminars, internships, and scholarships. Following the presentation, Dr. Capano will respond to questions of specific interest to the real estate investment and development industry.
Professionally, Dr. Capano has more than 40 years of experience in the construction industry and currently serves as principal of The Capano Group, a consulting firm for contractors and construction education. His research interests are in Construction Technologies, Prefabrications, and Construction Analytics.
The meeting is sponsored by LandQwest Commercial Property Management, and will begin promptly at 11:45 a.m. on Tuesday, August 13th in the Osprey Room at Pelican Preserve’s Clubhouse, on Treeline Avenue at Colonial Boulevard, one mile east of I-75 exit 136 in Fort Myers.
