Florida House Majority Leader Dane Eagle will review the 2019 Legislative Session and implications for Southwest Florida’s real estate industry at the Real Estate Investment Society’s (REIS) June 11th luncheon meeting. Recent legislative action and budget allocations will have far-reaching impacts on our local economy and Representative Eagle will summarize the key issues to watch. He is also expected to provide insight on the legislative process and political factors. Following the presentation, Eagle will respond to questions of specific interest to the real estate investment and development industry. Representative Eagle has served in the Florida House of Representatives since 2012, as the Majority Leader since 2018, and is also the head of the Lee County Legislative Delegation. Eagle is a commercial real estate broker. The meeting is sponsored by Velocity Engineering, and will begin promptly at 11:45 a.m. on Tuesday, June 11th in the Osprey Room at Pelican Preserve’s Clubhouse, on Treeline Avenue at Colonial Boulevard, one mile east of I-75 exit 136 in Fort Myers.
