"Jump-Starting the U.S. Economy" - John Jung, head of BB&T Capital Markets, will analyze current economic trends at Real Estate Investment Society's March luncheon meeting. Sponsored by Busey.
Strategies for succeeding in the new economy will be the focus of the Real Estate Investment Society’s (REIS) March 10th luncheon meeting. John Jung, Senior Managing Director of Washington-based BB&T Capital Markets, will present “Jump-Starting the U.S. Economy,” a discussion of financial market conditions, key economic indicators, government regulation and oversight, and strategies for success in a changing economy.
The speaker will address timely questions: 1. Why does this time feel differently? 2. Where are we? – two versions of the current economy; 3. What do we keep an eye on? – labor, housing, stocks – and what do they tell us? 4. What is / should be the government’s role? And do they have options? 5. Where are the trends leading us? What is the “smart money” betting on? John Jung is an experienced investment banker with 25 years’ experience in the capital markets business. Following the presentation, Mr. Jung will respond to questions of specific interest to the real estate investment and development industry. The meeting is sponsored by Roetzel & Andress, LPA, and will begin promptly at 11:45 a.m. on Tuesday, March 10th in the Magnolia Room at Pelican Preserve’s Town Center, on Treeline Avenue at Colonial Boulevard, one mile east of I-75 exit 136 in Fort Myers.
